Rumely: Around the Christmas Tree Holiday Cards

This festive holiday scene illustrating birds and animals gathering around a Christmas tree was originally created by Janet Rumely (American, 1925–2021) in 1978. Each card opens to reveal the message, “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
